Hello and Welcome to Sunshine State Grooming

First we would like to introduce ourselves.  Sunshine State Grooming is owned and operated by Gregg and Chris Hall.  Gregg started with a mustache at 19 years old and in his 30's he added a goatee.  However he never knew about taking care of his beard until he decided to grow a full beard in late 2023.  At that point in time he  started looking for how to take care of his beard.  

So doing what most people do, he headed over to You Tube and started searching.  He quickly found Dan C Bearded and started watching the vast array of videos offered.  He also started trying out various companies. 

Gregg has always been someone that loved making things from scratch the old fashioned way.  He makes sour dough bread and corns his own beef for example.  And as such it was a natural progression to want to learn to make his own beard products.  Crafting quality products that worked perfectly.  Thus began a deep dive into the various oils and butters that go into making up the products and how they work and play together.

The oils and butters we have today are the culmination of almost a year of study and trial and error.  We have given samples along the way to various bearded friends for their feed back as well.  We are proud of what we are producing, but we are also sure that with more time, experience and knowledge, we will make changes when we think we can improve.

Chris came on board after using some of the products in her hair after stating that she had some itchiness, when it quickly went away, she became a believer.  She also provides a creative side to the business, that simply isn't Gregg's forte.  

There are a lot of great companies out there, with a lot of great owners, doing what we are doing.  Gregg owns and uses many of them.  We do however believe that the market is out there for what we have and will have to offer.  

We have been inspired by the quality of the other company owners in the market, and will strive to emulated how they interact with the community and each other.
